Aston Villa vs Watford Team News:
With Ezri Konsa banned, Aston Villa will be missing Bertrand Traore and Marvelous Nakamba, who are both out injured with hamstring and knee ailments. Because of last weekend’s setback, Gerrard may elect to alter his starting team, however, the back four of Matty Cash, Caleb Chambers, Tyrone Mings and Lucas Digne are expected to stay in place, protecting goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
Jacob Ramsey, who has been in excellent form this season, should also continue in the starting lineup, while Morgan Sanson might be preferred over either Douglas Luiz or John McGinn. Danny Ings, who has scored four goals in his past three Premier League games against Watford, will be looking to push his way into the starting XI ahead of Ollie Watkins, who has failed to score in his last six outings.
Watford will be missing Peter Etebo, Nicolas Nkoulou, Rob Elliott, and Kwadwo Baah due to injuries, as will the rest of the Premier League team. Ismaila Sarr, who scored against Aston Villa in the opposite game, might return to the starting XI at the cost of Juraj Kucka, while Joao Pedro will attempt to replace either Josh King or Emmanuel Dennis in the starting XI.
Signings in the month of January Hassane Kamara and Edo Kayembe have both started all three games under Roy Hodgson, and the duo are expected to keep their starting positions at left-back and centre-midfield, respectively, this weekend at the Emirates Stadium.

The One-Liner Explainer:
Watford could have a good opportunity of breaking their four-game goalless streak if they can exploit Aston Villa’s porous defence. The hosts, on the other hand, will go into Saturday’s game as heavy favourites, and they should have enough talent in their squad to take all three points.
