Bologna will be hoping to find another scorer in Serie A for the first time since Riccardo Orsolini netted against Verona in January since the club’s star player Marko Arnautovic is sidelined due to a cumulative number of bookings. It is expected that the latter would partner Musa Barrow upfront; even though Barrow scored in the reverse tie against Udinese, the Gambian striker has gone 465 minutes without scoring since the start of December.

The normal centre-backs Gary Medel and Adama Soumaoro have both been suspended after their red cards in Turin. This means that Luis Binks and Kevin Bonifazi will go into the back three, as part of a 3-5-2 system, to replace them. In the meantime, midfielders Kingsley Michael and Nicola Sansone are unable to participate due to injuries.

Udinese:

Only first-choice forward Beto is out of the lineup for Udinese this weekend, and in his place will be Ignacio Pussetto, who has been directly involved in at least one goal in each of his three Serie A games against Bologna, who will compete with Isaac Success for a position alongside Gerard Deulofeu upfront.

A member of the visitors’ ex-Watford enclave, Roberto Pereyra, is likely to make his comeback after missing out due to an injury last week. Nahuel Molina returns from suspension and could start on the right-wing for the hosts.
