Drafted GT Players: Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, Shubman Gill
Gujarat spent 15 crores on their new captain Hardik Pandya. Afghan leg-break bowler Rashid Khan was purchased for the same amount, making the two of them the highest earning players in the GT side. Indian batter Shubman Gill was also bought before the auction for 7 crores. Gujarat spent heavily on all-rounder Rahul Tewatia, bagging him for 9 crores, and Mohammed Shami was roped in for 6.25 crores. The other Indian players picked in the auction were Wriddhiman Saha (1.9 crores), Jayant Yadav (1.7 crores) and Vijay Shankar (1.4 crores).

New Zealand quick Lockie Ferguson was the top overseas buy at the auctions at 10 crores. Gujarat also picked South African batter David Miller for 3 crores, Australian wicketkeeper Matthew Wade and West Indies bowler Alzarri Joseph for 2.4 crores each. England opener Jason Roy was purchased for 2 crores, but he dropped out of the tournament.

Gujarat bagged Yash Dayal and R. Sai Kishore for 3.2 crores and 3 crores respectively, while Abhinav Sadarangan ws purchased for 2.6 crores. Darshan Nalkande, B. Sai Sudharsan, and Pradeep Sangwan were purchased for their base price of 20 lakhs.
