“He has done wonders for the Team…..”, Former player comes up with big words for Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli

After India was eliminated from the T20 World Cup 2022, Virat Kohli went back home. His busy schedule was recognized, and he was left off the roster for the upcoming trip to New Zealand. But the former captain is back at work, getting ready for a three-ODI and two-Test bilateral series against Bangladesh beginning on December 4. Kohli is one of the veterans who sat out the New Zealand series but will be back for the regional matchup.

The former captain of India posted a video of himself in the midst of an intense workout on Thursday, and it was posted on his Instagram account. Kohli uses the cable machine to strengthen his back after warming up his legs on the treadmill. The hashtag he used, #VKCAM, almost guarantees that the video was filmed by him.

Now that Virat Kohli has found his batting form again in the white-ball format, especially in T20Is, he hopes to carry that success into the longer format as well. After the three one-day internationals, India will play in the Test series, when all eyes will be on Virat Kohli, who has yet to record a century in the format since 2019. His maiden T20I hundred came earlier this year in the Asia Cup, which was played in the United Arab Emirates.

It was the first-ever Pink-ball Test in India, and Kohli struck his last Test century against Bangladesh in Kolkata. The Indians won by an innings and 46 runs because of his performance, as he scored 136.

Kohli has now gotten as many as six fifty-plus runs in 32 innings, with his best being 72 against Australia in Adelaide. After a four-month absence, one of the country’s most productive batters will return to the red-ball format, and fans can anticipate big innings. Kohli has scored 8074 runs in 102 Tests, giving him an average of 49.53. In this style, he has 27 hundred and 28 half-centuries.

Former South African leg spinner Imran Tahir said: “Virat Kohli is a great player, he has done wonders for Team, he is world class”. (@VibhuBholafrom News 24 Sports)
