Ligue 1 2021-22 Fixtures, Key Dates, and Participating Teams

The French football league Ligue 1 commonly know as Ligue 1 Uber Eats for sponsorship reasons will be disclosed soon this August. Whereas, it is the 84th season since founded. And, they are the current defending champions of the league are the Lille. The starting match will be held on August 7, 2021, and; will be rolling out fixtures till May 21, 2022. However, it is one of the largest football leagues in French. There will be around 20 participating teams in the league for the season. Ligue 1 2021-22 Fixtures

Ligue 1 2021-22 full fixtures will be releasing this August 8th, 2021. Whereas, the first match will be taking place between the OL vs Brest on August 8th. However, there will be 10 fixtures in total taking place on the 1st Day.

Key Dates for Ligue 1 2021/22 Fixtures

• Trophee des Champions will be held on August 1, 2021.
• Ligue2 will begin from July 24 and conclude on May 14, 2022.
• 22 December 2021 will be the last matchday before winter break.
• Ligue 1 will resume its post-winter matchday from 7 January 2022.
• Relegation Playoffs will take place on 26 May and 29 May 2022.
• Coupe de France Final will be held on 8 May 2022.

Ligue 1 Participating Teams 2021-22

However, the teams participating in the league are divided on the basis of regions. Whereas, 10 regions are divided into 20 teams. Check out below the list of regions and teams of Ligue 1 divided.

Whereas, Troyes and Clermont are the two promoted teams from Ligue1. Similarly, after a three-year absence, Troyes is promoted whereas Clermont is promoted to Ligue 1 for the very first time. They also relegated two from 2020-21 Ligue 1 is Dijon and Nimes.
