The Rajasthan Royals have confirmed that their sacking of their Twitter admin team was a prank. Here’s the video they posted this morning, showing the team conducting fake interviews to fill the post of their next admin. At the end, the Royals’ admin thanks several players and Twitter accounts for their collaboration, including captain Sanju Samson who was at the heart of the controversy.
This prank was incomplete without a fake audition. 😂

The Royals’ twitter has been the subject of much speculation lately over this elaborate prank. Their feed had been drawing attention for its fun and engaging banter, but that seemed to come to an abrupt end with Samson blowing up over a post that crossed the line. The Royals then posted a sombre response last night, indicating that their admin’s service were being terminated.

However, another cryptic video involving R Ashwin, Kumar Sangakkara and Lasith Malinga bidding goodbye to the admin had fans second guessing the authenticity of this byplay.
One last time.

I like the fact that yuzi was peaking to see the contestants. He got humour and all this prank might be overboard for Audience but it was good. Afterall i didn't wanted that admin to get fired so i like thee outcome.

But most people found it hard to find the humour in the publicity stunt.

Unfollowing… The prank was OK but using the Press Release/Statements can't be accepted… How can the fans trust the team and management if you are using it (official Statements) for such stuffs… 👎

Pathetic… Most of us don't find @yuzi_chahal funny. Irritating in fact
If this is the future of the team, then happy times
